SKY TV & FREESAT TV both will work fine in Spain with a suitable satellite dish.
The dish above was installed in Quesada situated just 10 minutes by car from Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca. You will notice that the dish has "FAMAVAL" printed on it, we only use the Famaval range of satellite dishes having tried many different brands this is hands down the best quality satellite dish to use in Torrevieja. The dish above is the 1M Famaval dish & is suitable to receive SKY SPORTS on the Costa Blnaca and some FREESAT channels. It is not suitable for Torrevieja as of July 2013 when the signals change over to Astra 2F.

We have just completed an installation in Quesada for a British Family that own a villa in Ciudad Quesada, Rojales Costa Blanca Spain. The property was totally minimilistic in design and used lots of wood and natural materials. We have been installing in this area for years and have never seen anything like this type of property in the Torrevieja area. We pre-installed the cables almost two years ago so that no cables can be seen anywhere in the property apart from the central communications room.
We installed the 1.9 Famaval satellite dish and two SKY+HD boxes that are used to stream 8 televisions around the property.
SKY 3D - In the basement of this villa is a games room with a 60" LED TV mounted on the wall with a directional bracket and a HD & 3D TV feed voa HDMI cable. SKY 3D TV is activated so we spent some time testing the 3D quality with the Samsung 3D glasses. The 3D images on the Samsung smart TV where amazing plus because there is no natural light in the basement the clarity is first class. Our client had purchased some very expensive 3D glasses (not Samsung) that worked even better, although they had cost £295.
